Emirates ID Authorization

Your Emirates ID is a legal document valid for all citizens, locals and foreigners alike, and should be carried at all times. An Emirates ID card, issued by the Federal Identity and Citizenship Office, is required for all UAE government services, travel within the GCC, immigration and voting. The ID card has a 15 digit ID number and is kept forever. All government and some private services are available with your number and ID card. It proves who is using the service. The card also has an electronic chip that contains all of your personal information, including basic details, photos and biometric fingerprints.
